Nocturne is the first instalment in a new trilogy by Kat Ross, one tied to her previous trilogy The Fourth Element. Other reviewers who haven’t read the first trilogy say you can read this book just fine, but you’ll get more enjoyment out of it by reading both series, as you’ll know the history of the land, and the relationship between Nazafareen and Darius. Month in Review: January 2018 (+February #TBR)

Wow, one month already down in 2018. I swear time goes by faster and faster. Reading wise, I’ve had a fairly good month, with 16 books read, but I’ve been in a massive blogging slump. My awaiting-review shelf on Goodreads is getting longer, and it’s making me feel massively guilty, but it’s hard for me to focus.
