The Faerie Queen’s review Once again, Karina Halle proves why she’s an autobuy author for me. I have loved every single book I’ve read by her since I was told to read Smut two years ago. Plus, her covers are always beyond sexy and just pop. Right from the start, this was giving me The Sound of Music vibes. A young woman (26) gets a job as a nanny for a grumpy older widower’s (40) children, and she brings life and joy back to the household. There was even (really bad) singing. As a fan of TSOM, I was completely ok with this connection. Of course, there were some differences. The Faerie Queen’s review Have you ever procrastinated a review for so long that when you finally come to write it, it’s eight months later and you’re like damn. Yes, it’s been a while, but I’m going to spin this in my favour. You see, this way you’ll know what the really memorable aspects were, and not just my giddy feelings right after finishing. Ok, so what do I remember the most? WELL. This book was hot as hell. Sexual tension and rough sex abound. Yes, rough and dominating and woah.
