Excerpt: Succubus Lips by Lina Jubilee

Happy hump day! 😉 We’ve got a little bit of taster to share with you today of a new reverse harem series starter Succubus Lips by Lina Jubilee! First, here’s a bit more about the book, and don’t forget to enter the giveaway at the end! About the book Excerpt In the library, my bare ass against some dusty volume of Descartes, his thick hands cupping me from below. Him nibbling on my ear, my hands threaded through his wavy, dark brown locks. Why, oh why, do my thoughts inevitably drift to that night
? I had to stop myself from dwelling on him too long. “I often find myself having such thoughts about that night, too. Though I certainly make no point of dismissing them.” That was why. That was Zander’s voice in my head—leader of the Renegades, traitor of the Veras team, all-around hunk but a little too aware of that. Having […]

Review: Power of Five by Alex Lidell

The Faerie Queen’s review So you may have noticed my recent addiction to reverse harem romances. It really takes romance into the world of fantasy for me, entertaining this idea that I could have multiple gorgeous and interesting men all to myself. Add to that the fact that the men in Power of Five are fae and you’ve hooked me. There is a reason I call myself the Faerie Queen. I LOVE FAERIES. And I loved this book. As with all reverse harems, I could pinpoint the stereotypes that each guy played: the serious one, the playful one, the broken one, etc. But I was completely endeared to each and every one of them. They were each sexy and so warm in their own ways, though it took time for each to show this. Yes, ok, there was some insta-ness going on, given how magic had “chosen” them as a quint, […]

Interview: Five Fathers by Kate Morgan

Hey everyone! Today, we’re joined by Kate Morgan, author of Five Fathers, for a special Q&A! See what Kate thinks about writing a reverse harem series. You can also find out more about her book and enter a giveaway at the end! Interview Describe your book in 10 words. Espionage, Romance, Steamy, Taboo, Violent, Emotional, Sexy, Suspense, Mobsters, #WhyChoose (it’s a one word tag haha) What made you want to write a romance about Fathers? They’re not actually Fathers. They’re undercover mercenaries posing as priests. Although I did have a reader contact me and ask for clarification on whether they were single dads or married and cheating
I laughed. (none of them actually have kids, it’s a play on priests not parents) What was it like writing sex scenes involving members of the clergy? I wouldn’t know! Haha, seeing as they’re not actually priests, its not really an issue? That’s just their disguise

Review: Consort of Secrets by Eva Chase

Review: Consort of Secrets by Eva Chase

The Faerie Queen’s review Ever since Reverse Harem Month, I’ve been keeping an eye on the subgenre. There’s something extra delightfully naughty about not having to choose between your favourite types of heroes. You can have the bad boy, the nice guy, the dark and handsome figure… It may not be common in real life, but romance allows us to explore our fantasies, and having a group to give you the love you desire (physically and emotionally) is actually a rather nice one. And you know what? This was a rather nice reverse harem story. It was easy to read, and very quick, too. It didn’t take long to jump onto the action, and I had my suspicions and hopes set from the very beginning. The Big Bad was somewhat of a stereotype, but I was fine with that. And as much as I love my romance, it was sort […]

Teaser: The Inheritance by Mika Lane

Since January, the Faerie Queen hasn’t been able to stop with the reverse harems, and today, she’s got a few teasers from the newly released RH novel The Inheritance by Mika Lane! First, here’s a bit more about the book, and don’t forget to enter the giveaway at the end! About the book Teasers! God, they were both gorgeous—Nat with his preppy, chiseled looks, and Linc with his short ponytail and facial scruff—each of them bringing their own unique brand of sexy to the table. But there was something about the two of them together, as if they were feeding off one another. Their combined sensuality was way more intense than merely taking each’s lust and adding it together; it was as if two plus two equaled way more than four. Move into some goddamn mansion with a bunch of other guys so she could choose one of us? That was the stupidest […]

Review: Elements of Mischief by C.M. Stunich & Tate James

Review: Elements of Mischief by C.M. Stunich & Tate James

The Faerie Queen’s review I was a little nervous about reading this because both authors wrote for the Snow & Seduction reverse harem anthology that I have not been able to get through. The anthology is a bit of a mess, and doesn’t look like it’s been edited at all (for content or typos). But I am happy to report that Elements of Mischief is actually a lot of fun and has clearly gone through all the right stages of publication! Reverse harems tend to have the same cast of men – the bad boy, the calming presence, the horndog, and the charming leader – and this was no different. In case you’re wondering: Billy (fire), George (earth), Reg (water), and Skeeter (air). But I sort of expected as much, and while not necessarily original, it was dependably entertaining and sexy. They could be a bit much sometimes, especially Reg, who was […]

Review: Glutton for Pleasure by Alisha Rai

Review: Glutton for Pleasure by Alisha Rai

The GingerSnap’s review I’ve been wanting to read Alisha Rai’s back catalogue of books for a while, and LiatoF’s Reverse Harem Month gave me the perfect opportunity to read this, her first book. When I read the introduction to the book and realised it was about two brothers falling in love with the same girl, I was intrigued, but wary. I’m all for reverse harem and menage romances, but haven’t read any involving family members due to my fear that the book would involve incest. I should’ve kept my faith in Alisha, however, because she managed to build a believable, incest-free, crazy-hot romance between Devi and brothers Jace and Marcus that had me nearly fanning myself at certain points of the book. Devi Malik is the head chef at her parent’s family-owned Indian restaurant, and after a serious romantic dry spell, her sister decides it’s time to spice up Devi’s […]
