Review: Breakaway by Sophia Henry

The Faerie Queen’s review Ice hockey romances are this lady’s crack. (Ok, maybe, in the context of something in this book, I shouldn’t have said that.) Again, I know nothing about ice hockey, nor have I ever seen a game, but hey, not everything in life makes sense. I really liked the dynamic between Bree and Luke. It felt natural and sexy, as did the non-physical connection as it slowly built. Two things, in particular, made this stand out for me. First, Bree knew what she wanted – especially in the bedroom – and didn’t try to be all coy or embarrassed about it. Second, the attitude to flings on both parts was refreshing.
